There is no maximum age! There are regulations regarding the minimum age. These vary by state, county and city, so be sure to ask your skydiving representative about the rules in the area where you would like to jump.
You should be in reasonably good health to safely skydive. However, only average fitness and flexibility is required. If you can jump off a table onto the ground easily, then you should be able to handle most landing situations. If you have a medical condition, or any specific concerns about how the physical aspects of skydiving might affect your health, it is always best to consult your doctor.
The most important aspect of skydiving is safety. The sport is highly regulated and everything we do has safety as the bottom line. Statistically it is often said that the most dangerous part of parachuting is the drive to the Drop Zone!
You may find this hard to believe, but freefall does not involve a falling sensation. Hawaii Sky Diving Being in freefall is a buoyant, floating sensation. By using your arms and legs, we can achieve a great deal of control over falling (vertical) speed and horizontal movement. It's just like flying, only with your own body!
